The Company is committed to intelligent buildings. With buildings as a platform, our intelligent buildings are equipped with building facilities and office automation and communication network systems with an optimal combination of the structure, systems, services, and management, to provide residents and users with a safe, efficient, comfortable, and convenient living environment. The main components of such buildings include building management automation systems, communication automation systems, and office automation systems.
In the early planning stage, we adopt a building information modeling (BIM) system to improve work efficiency and prevent potential conflicts that may occur during the planning stage of each construction project. The BIM system enables architects and designers to understand and achieve automation and realize many other product features more swiftly and easily. After completing the modeling, we can also provide information the owner or maintenance personnel need. There are clear labels for all products and thorough descriptions of service requirements.
Landscaping has been gradually emphasized for buildings in recent years, for which large balconies and terraces are designed on each floor for air ventilation and a healthy environment, in which human beings can coexist with the pandemic. At present, we plant trees in high-rise buildings where appropriate. Take Agora Garden, the latest construction project completed, as an example. We planted roughly 23,000 plants, which are estimated to absorb 130 tons of carbon dioxide a year. With that, we strive to enhance our ESG endeavors and fulfill our social responsibility. We hope our actions will facilitate a trend of planting trees on every floor of high-rise buildings to absorb carbon emissions to fight against global warming and protect the Earth together.
