BES Engineering Corporation (BES) has been pioneering new construction works in Taiwan. In the 1970's it built the ever first super-tall building, the "Taipower Building", in Taiwan; it won the first foreign bridge contract, the "Songkhla Bridge" in the 1980's; it built the longest tunnel, the "Bagua Mountain Tunnel", then; the "Core Pacific City Living Mall" was the building of the deepest foundation structure in Taiwan by the 2000's; and the "Dapeng Bay Bridge" built in 2011 was honored the first domestic mobile bridge in between bay shores.
